So I’m looking for an Italian Christmas song for some of my students who are Italian and visited Italy. I happen upon a website that speaks about hymns, Latin, and favorite carols. And I click on the second song down in a list, Tu Scendi Dalle Stella.
“Great God, Thou lovest me. What suff’ring Thou didst bear, That I near Thee might be!”
What a gem! I hope you enjoy it, also.
The arrangement I have below is very basic, created for my students who need to focus on the melody with a simple left hand.
