Below are accompaniments for corporate singing. Most are based on the Episcopal Church’s “The Hymnal 1982,” simply because that is the church that has asked me to record, due to covid. Many are in a lower key, facilitating corporate singing for mature voices. (That’s a polite way to say if you have older folks in the congregation, they will appreciate singing in a lower key.)

As far as I know, everything below is public domain. If not, please let me know via my contact page.

I am glad to provide these to you at no cost. Truly! If you have time, I’d love to hear feedback from you. (If you would like to support my work with a donation, again, use my contact page.)

For hymns: I start with a short intro and give a clean break between the intro and each verse (this gives you the ability to pause to use fewer verses, and allows singers to breathe). Every verse progresses in difficulty: the first verse is simple, usually right out of the hymnal, with a strong melody. The last verse is usually a variation, sometimes with an alternate harmony.
