One of my adult students sent me an online St. Patrick’s Day card with a sweet anima 
ted girl playing Brian Boru’s March on the harp. Brian Boru was a king that ran the Vikings out of Ireland, thereby becoming a significant Irish hero.
Three hundred years after he died, someone made a special harp in his honor, which has become one of the symbols of Ireland. When you see Irish clip art for a harp, most often, it is referencing the specific “Brian Boru” harp!
